Science

Mary Monaco is entering her 16th year of teaching for LMHS. Before this she taught 11 years in schools in Queens and Brooklyn NY. She has a BA from New York University in Biology and a Masters from City University of New York in Science Education.

My passion is definitely for the students in my classroom. I also coach the basketball and golf teams. In my spare time I enjoy my wife and 3 sons, golfing, and nature.

I enjoy teaching biology, chemistry, physical science and forensic science here at LMHS. I graduated from Meredith College in Raleigh, NC with a bachelor's degree in Biology. This is my 5th year teaching at Louisburg High School. I have previous education experience outside of Franklin County Schools. I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, movies, & traveling. I am looking forward to sharing my love of science with my students.

Morgan is native to Franklin County and is a Louisburg High School alumna! She prides herself on creating a family-like atmosphere in her classroom where students feel heard, respected, and loved. She is a wife, a mom of two boys, and a lover of all sports--go Warriors!
