I received my undergraduate degree in English and Political Science at East Carolina University. I also received my Masters of Arts in English and Writing and a Masters of Education in Instructional Technology as well. I have taught first and second year English at ECU, Pre-K, and high school English. I received my certification in leadership and am currently coaching cheerleading. I am a currently a STEM teacher in the LHS STEM Academy.

Ms. Marshall is a 7th-grade ELA teacher at TLMS. She graduated from Barton College in 2021 where she majored in Middle School English Education. Ms. Marshall is a product of Franklin County Schools and is happy to teach at the middle school she attended. In her free time, Ms. Marshall loves to read, shop, and spend time with loved ones!

Mr. Ranes has been teaching for 22 years, and 11 years at LMHS. He has taught Eng 1, composition, Eng 2, and Eng 3, but now mainly teaches Eng 4 and AP Literature and Composition. He lives right down the street and is committed to our community here in Franklin County. His main goal is to help young people learn to empower themselves through education.

Shaniqua L. Terry is a proud Franklin County native, and alumni of Franklin County Schools. She obtained her Bachelor's degree from East Carolina University with a minor in English. Ms. Terry has been an educator with Franklin County Schools for ten years and has taught English for the past seven years . She enjoys helping students take creative approaches to learning and establishing connections to the world around them.
