Franklin County native who graduated from East Carolina University with a double major in English & English Education. I have served the Louisburg community for over 5 years now, and nothing beats the relationships and teaching experiences I've had with my students.

I received my undergraduate degree in English and Political Science at East Carolina University. I also received my Masters of Arts in English and Writing and a Masters of Education in Instructional Technology as well. I have taught first and second year English at ECU, Pre-K, and high school English. I received my certification in leadership and am currently coaching cheerleading. I am a currently a STEM teacher in the LHS STEM Academy.

Mrs. Smith obtained her B.A. in English from Hampton University and Masters in Teaching English from South Carolina State University. The 2023-2024 school year will mark her 18th year in the education. Mrs. Smith loves spending time with her two boys, reading, travelling and the occasional gardening. Finally, her love of Star Wars is legendary--some would even say it's epic.
